Introduction
The roots of our company date back to 15 July 1989. This is when the first company named FÉMALK was founded, whose legal successor (after changes in corporate form) is FÉMALK Zrt. Initially, the company operated with several private owners, currently Dr. József Sándor is a key owner of FÉMALK Zrt.
Our company has been a significant player in the automotive industry for over 35 years, and its core business is the production of aluminium die castings for the automotive industry. Thanks to our dynamic growth, we now employ nearly 1,000 talented employees.
The successes of our company laid the foundation for our further expansion, within the framework of which we opened our Dunavarsány site next to our Csepel plant on 15 July 2014. Due to its design, this site can be ranked among the leading plants of a similar profile in Europe. Moreover, in June 2017 (as a greenfield investment) our new plant was launched in Erdőhorváti (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county).
FÉMALK’s core business is aluminum die casting, primarily for the automotive industry, as well as the surface treatment and machining of these products, and the performance of various assembly operations. Our company strives for the greatest professional complexity and flexibility. In addition to our core business, we have also built our own product development, product testing, tool design, tool manufacturing and maintenance departments. This allows us to respond quickly and independently in any situation and to comprehensively satisfy our customers’ needs within a short timeframe.
